Position Overview:
The Concept Group is looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Receivables and Reconciliation Officer to join their finance team in Lagos. This role is essential in ensuring timely and accurate recording of payments, managing account reconciliations, and supporting the overall financial administration of the company.
Key Responsibilities:
- Issue receipts promptly to clients upon payment.
- Perform bank, clearing, billing, and general ledger reconciliations regularly.
- Verify, calculate, and post daily accounts receivable transactions accurately.
- Maintain up-to-date customer files, billing records, and accounts receivable ledgers.
- Escalate and resolve any issues related to billing systems or payment discrepancies.
- Prepare and submit monthly financial and management reports as scheduled.
- Collaborate with sales and customer service teams to investigate and resolve account discrepancies.
- Support the month-end closing activities and assist with financial data collection and metrics preparation.
- Generate invoices and account statements to ensure accurate billing.
- Assist with general financial analysis and reporting as required.
Performance Indicators:
- Accuracy and timeliness in invoice generation and account reconciliations.
- Maintenance of reliable financial records and billing data.
- Effective resolution of discrepancies and inquiries.
- Quality and punctuality of management reports.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Accounting, Business Administration, or related discipline.
- 2 to 3 years of experience in account reconciliations or similar finance roles.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets.
- Excellent data analytical skills and attention to detail.
Salary:
N150,000 – N200,000 per month.
