Position Overview:
The Concept Group is seeking two skilled and detail-oriented Internal Audit / Control Executives to join their teams in Lagos and Rivers. These roles are critical in ensuring robust financial controls, risk management, and operational compliance across the Group’s various businesses. The successful candidates will manage the full audit cycle, conduct system reviews, and identify areas for improvement in internal processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct objective reviews of business processes to assess efficiency and compliance.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of risk management frameworks and recommend improvements.
- Identify control weaknesses and recommend appropriate risk mitigation strategies.
- Review petty cash and monitor financial transactions for accuracy and fraud prevention.
- Perform call-over audits of credit transactions and ledger postings to ensure correctness and compliance with accounting principles.
- Conduct periodic risk assessments and investigations on reported cases.
- Monitor adherence to internal policies and external regulatory requirements.
- Anticipate emerging risks through data analysis and regular assessments.
- Support internal control functions as directed by department leadership.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Proven experience as an Internal Auditor or Control Officer.
- Proficient with MS Office, accounting software, and databases.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- ICAN or ACCA certification (completed or in progress) preferred.
Salary:
N200,000 per month.
