Job Summary:
SmartRecruitmentNow is seeking to hire two experienced Male Chartered Accountants for immediate employment on behalf of a client. The ideal candidates must be proficient in managing all facets of accounting functions and possess strong attention to detail, leadership, and organizational skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain accounting records including ledgers, journals, registers, and individual accounts
- Perform bank reconciliations and prepare financial statements and reports
- Inspect, verify, and reconcile source documents such as invoices, vouchers, and other financial transactions
- Handle VAT, WHT, and other statutory filings via the TaxPro Max platform
- Ensure accurate documentation and timely preparation of trial balances
- Monitor and analyze budgets and perform variance analysis
- Maintain digital records, spreadsheets, and accounting software tools
- Collaborate with internal and external auditors for audits and financial reviews
- Maintain year-end financial documentation in compliance with regulations
Requirements:
- HND, Bachelor’s, or Master’s Degree in Accounting or related field
- Professional accounting certification (e.g., ICAN, ACCA) is mandatory
- Minimum of 6 years of relevant work experience
- Must be fluent in both written and spoken English
- Must be available to resume immediately
